KDE SC 4.4 Beta 2 KDE has released a second preview the KDE Software Compilation (KDE SC), 4.4 Beta 2. The second beta version of KDE SC 4.4 provides a preview and base for helping to stabilize the next version of the KDE Plasma Workspaces, Applications and Development Platform.

New minor version 4.9.0 available

It includes several new plugins, including the integration of Python as a new language binding. Various existing pl ugins have been improved, including support for AIX in some OS dependent plugins. REBOL 3 Runs on Syllable Desktop!

Now we have even better news. R3 has been split into its planned core interpreter library and an open source host environment for integration with as many systems as possible. Kaj has got this version to work on Syllable Desktop. This is the first time that a version of REBOL can run there (besides emulating a complete operating system), so this is a major step towards our REBOL cross-platform strategy.
